[Showroom in Marsberg]

The challenge in this project was not to create a competing structure for the classically modern administration building. The new exhibition pavilion lies mostly beneath the park landscape, following the natural topography, and only opens up on the east side—facing away from the administrative building—with an amorphously shaped glass façade. A glass tunnel connects the two structures.

The exhibition continues the theme of “white” as a way of life—the plasticity of the space is emphasized through various exhibition segments with changes in height and materials. Step lighting and the complex lighting system symbolize, through the interplay of changing floor coverings from soft to hard, the different physical states of glass. The entire showroom stands as its own statement while clearly showcasing the company’s product.
