The logistics company Nanno Janssen in Leer is a pioneer in the field of electric trucks and commissioned us to implement a charging infrastructure for 10 trucks on its premises.

Part of the new setup is a sustainably constructed administrative building, which was originally a steel-frame building from Siemens in Nuremberg. It was dismantled, transported, and reassembled in Leer. With this project, Nanno Janssen has made a valuable contribution to sustainable building reuse and demonstrated what is possible in practice.

The building is fully utilized with a photovoltaic system, and an additional PV park was built on the premises to partly supply power for the company’s own electric trucks. The charging infrastructure, including transformer and storage system for 10 e-trucks, is unique in scale and capacity in Northern Germany.
